ILEF Mission Statement

The Internet Literary Editors' Fellowship (ILEF) exists to: 1. Promote the general welfare of online literature by facilitating communication between editors of online literary websites to foster strong relationships among authors, editors, publishers, and the general public. 2. Increase the international awareness of each member's online literary publishing efforts, creating opportunities for member participation in joint publication efforts, live performances, and competitions. 3. Provide technical assistance to members in all matters essential to maintaining and promoting sites and publications. 4. Seek out, structure, and encourage permanent archives of member publications for the enjoyment of posterity, while actively seeking enhanced copyright and trade protection for all online authors and publications. 5. Sponsor outreach programs to the press, educational institutions, print venues, and all others with an interest in literature.
